In your recent issue you have again put before your readers an attack upon Christian Science and upon its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, giving the editor of the Paris (Missouri) Mercury as your authority. Neither you nor the editor of the Mercury can possibly know these statements to be true, and you both have assumed grave moral responsibility in publishing statements concerning a gentle New England woman which any open-minded investigator could easily learn to be utterly false.
