I am grateful that I have been able to prove that Christian Science is the truth, and that it does heal. Since taking up the study of Christian Science I have been healed of chronic stomach trouble, which at intervals had been the cause of great suffering since childhood; also, ear trouble and other physical conditions have been overcome—adequate proof of the healing power of divine Mind.
While I am indeed grateful for the physical healings, I am more grateful for the understanding of God, who is an ever present help, and of man's relation to Him; and, when tempted with enxious thoughts, for that inward assurance that God is Love and that, as Mrs. Eddy tells us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 567), "To infinite, ever-present Love, all is Love, and there is no error, no sin, sickness, nor death."
At one time, while looking for employment, I found that positions were very scarce; that there would be many applications for each position which was open. And in calling on different firms and talking to business people I was told that unfilled positions were few, and salaries low. Each day I encountered this condition, so that I entertained thoughts of fear and discouragement, doubting whether God's supply was sufficient for all. When, however, I turned to God with an earnest desire for guidance, and acknowledged man's sonship with God, the fear and discouragement were relieved, and I was very beautifully led to a position in which I am very happy.
