I should like to express my gratitude for the many benefits...
I should like to express my gratitude for the many benefits which have come to me through the study of Christian Science. The first healing I had in Science occurred a few years ago. Although at that time the revelation of man's unity with the Father had not dawned upon my consciousness, yet by the help of a loving practitioner the discordant condition called influenza was overcome instantaneously.
In the hope that it may benefit some one, I should like to tell of a very beautiful healing which came to me a little over a year ago. I woke one morning with a sense of discomfort in my face, and found that one side was partially paralyzed. I said nothing about the condition, but tried to realize the omnipotence of divine Mind. The condition, however, grew gradually worse, owing to fear entering consciousness. I went to a practitioner for help, and within a week the inharmony had entirely disappeared.
I am indeed very grateful to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her great unselfishness, which made it possible for her to give this demonstrable truth to the world.—(Miss) Jeanie C. Laurie, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, Scotland.
