In the report of a lecture delivered in your city by a doctor, the statement was made that he "defined Christian Science as an imaginary cure for a real disease and a real cure for an imaginary disease." As the one authorized to correct misleading statements appearing in Kansas newspapers, please allow me space to reply to this quotation which appeared in your recent issue. Christian Science affords a real cure for every disease known to the medical calendar from Balstomycosis, which has been considered by medical practice as being incurable, to hallucinations, admitted by medical theories to be imaginary.

Aside from the physical healing, Christian Science is a beneficent influence in awakening the spiritual side of life, developing character, and affording moral supremacy over false appetites.
