I wish to express my gratitude and joy for the satisfying peace that has come to me through the study and application of Christian Science. The Bible has become to me a treasure of truth since I took up this study, as absolute Truth is revealed to us through the inspired Word made plain through the teachings of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

It is a wonderful joy to know that we are following in the footsteps of our blessed Master, Christ Jesus, seeking to let this Mind be in us "which was also in Christ Jesus." Mrs. Eddy states in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 307), "What a glorious inheritance is given to us through the understanding of omnipresent Love!" I have been healed of stomach trouble from which I had suffered for many years without receiving aid from material means; my eyes have been healed and the need for glasses overcome; the desire for tobacco has also left me. These healings have come to me from reading our revered Leader's book, Science and Health. Our youngest son has been healed of rupture. About three years ago our dog was run over by an automobile and to mortal sense severely injured; but he was quickly healed through our understanding of Christian Science. For the past ten years this blessed truth has been our only help.

I am very grateful for all the Christian Science activities. It is indeed a privilege to be a member of The Mother Church and a branch church, to teach in the Sunday school, and to have had class instruction; to hear the lectures and to have the Christian Science periodicals, all of which help to sustain and strengthen us on our way from sense to Soul. The loving help given by the faithful Christian Science practitioners is also much appreciated.
