I have been acquainted with Christian Science for sixteen years. During this time I have received many blessings of every kind.

In the Lord's Prayer and its spiritual interpretation as given by Mrs. Eddy in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (pp. 16, 17), it says, "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; And God leadeth us not into temptation, but delivereth us from sin, disease, and death." Some years ago I experienced the truth of these words in abundance, in that God freed me from sin and false beliefs, and also graciously guided me in business and financial affairs.

Our children were healed of whooping cough and other children's disease in a very short time. I should like to express my gratitude for the wise institution of the Sunday school and for the dear people who are willing to declare the Word of God and to plant the seed in the children's hearts—the seed which will shoot forth at some future time. During the war, too, Christian Science proved to be my faithful helper. I cannot imagine what this time would have been without it. My husband also had a quick healing in Christian Science. He suffered from tympanitis for four months. The physicians did not help him. On the contrary, his condition grew so much worse that a physician said his head should be operated upon. Then it was that my husband gained confidence in Christian Science, and was healed in a few treatments by a dear practitioner. His hearing is perfect again.
