Two years ago, after long months of searching in vain for help, I heard Christian Science spoken of. What I learned was a revelation, like a bright light in black darkness.

Since childhood my wife had suffered from a cardiac condition, and, condemned by medicine, she was in bondage to this difficulty. After the birth of our child, two years ago, the trouble took the form of great nervous depression. Various treatments which followed brought no relief, and on the recommendation of a physician, my wife was advised to leave her family and to be cared for in a sanitarium. At this time Christian Science was presented to me. The clarity and logic with which the truth was revealed to me, teaching me the nothingness of error, convinced me that the help for which I was looking could come only from Christian Science. Filled with this thought, which gave me quietness and hope, destroying all fear, I went for my wife the next day, and with the aid of Christian Science intrusted her to the hands of the Almighty. My wife and I are very grateful for the kind help of the practitioner, for her untiring patience, her help at all times, and the example which she gave us of brotherly love.

Through this assistance and that of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we have acquired an understanding of divine Principle; and by reading this wonderful book daily, my wife has found health and freedom.
