I have had many physical healings, but that for which I give the most thanks is the fact that I am learning to know God aright through the study of Christian Science. By reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was healed of rupture, after being told by a medical doctor that an operation was imperative; also of astigmatism, which had made the wearing of glasses necessary for seven years.

One summer after suffering for some time with pain and soreness in my spine, I visited a practitioner and received an instantaneous healing, which proved conclusively to me that God's Word is quick and powerful. There came a time, however, when from a material standpoint I seemed to be in a hopeless condition, suffering from nervous breakdown, with all the attending fears; also from anæmia, indigestion, and so forth. I am indeed grateful that I asked help of the same loving Christian Science practitioner, who stood faithfully with me through untold trials, and finally showed me the way out of the darkness into light. I am grateful not only for physical healing but for a much improved disposition, and because I am learning something of the meaning of true humility.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and hope at the right time to have class instruction. I want to join the thousands of others who are expressing gratitude daily to God for sending our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, to teach us the way to health and happiness by demonstrating the words of Christ Jesus, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
