For more than twenty years a demonstrable understanding of God, and of man's true relationship to Him as taught in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, has shown me how to prove that Christ, Truth, as revealed in Christian Science, is the only physician. I was healed, in ten days' treatment, of semi-invalidism extending over a period of eight years. Astigmatism, for which glasses had been worn for a number of years, was healed at the same time. These healings, which took place about twenty-two years ago, have been permanent. I have been healed of asthma, in its worst form; of influenza, periodical sick headaches, neuritis, and typhoid-pneumonia, when both lungs were affected. This last healing was completed in two days' absent treatment.

Christian Science has been of inestimable value to me throughout my business career. Out of a very discordant atmosphere and small and insufficient salary, I was able through loving my work, my associates, and doing all to the glory of God, to find in less than a week's time more congenial work with a salary more than double that which I had been receiving. This position came to me without effort on my part, other than to express love no matter what mortal mind was claiming for itself. Business problems and financial needs have always been met when the understanding of Truth has been applied.

Christian Science has made life sweeter and more beautiful for me, and family and friends more dear. It has given peace, love, happiness, protection, and plenty; for all of which I am most deeply grateful to God; to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower; and to the dear, pure, loving woman, Mary Baker Eddy, who made it possible for this age to know the truth that Jesus promised would make free. I am grateful, indeed, for all the help given by loving practitioners in my journey out of materialism, and for the splendid, helpful literature provided for our daily reading. For all these blessings, realized through a clearer understanding of God and man's relationship to Him, I am indeed grateful.
