"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." I am truly grateful for these words of the writer to the Hebrews, which often come to me when I realize how quickly the turning to God for help and healing will bring results. In my own experience these words have been proved true many times, in cases of burns, colds, coughs, business problems, mental depression, and grief.

One morning I was preparing as usual to go to business when I was suddenly stricken with what seemed to be a very severe attack of ptomaine poisoning. I seemed to realize that immediate help was necessary, else one could not answer for the results. I tried to telephone, but the suffering was so intense and my strength appeared to be going so fast that I could not hold the receiver. A lady present asked the number and got the practitioner. In twenty minutes I was on the car on my way to business with no trace of the experience left.

I am deeply grateful for this and for many other healings, and for the evidences of God's loving care, protection, and the realization of His ever-presence. Christian Science has brought me blessings without number.
