I wish to testify to the efficacy of the healing power of Truth, expressed through Christian Science, and to express my love and gratitude for the blessings received. For several years I suffered from a goiter which was commencing to form, and which I had tried to get rid of through medical treatment. Several remedies afforded temporary relief, but it continued to reappear. After reading some Christian Science periodicals, I realized that only an understanding of the omnipotence of divine Love could heal me. I then asked a practitioner for treatment, which was willingly and lovingly given. I realized that it was more difficult to give up selfishness than the thougts of physical ills. In a comparatively short time I was freed, not only from this error, but also from a weakness of the heart which a physician had diagnosed. Several minor troubles, too, had to make room for harmony, because of the truth. During all the seeming disturbances, the one hundred and third psalm was a great comfort to me.

My gratitude to God and to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, is deep. I shall endeavor to grow in the understanding of this beautiful teaching and to ask for a greater degree of knowledge, so that I may be able to receive more of the light which thus shines in the world.
