Lecturer: Algernon Hervey Bathurst; introduced by Mrs. Mathilde Koch, who said:—

Those unacquainted with the teachings of Christian Science are sometimes apt to confuse it with other systems of healing; but Christian Science is a religion based exclusively on the teachings of Christ Jesus. Human will is not a factor in Christian Science healing; for healing in Christian Science is based on the words of our Master: "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." Those who practice the teachings of Christian Science know that it is the only way to health and eternal life.
