After suffering at frequent intervals for several years from acute indigestion, in a very short time I was completely healed by Christian Science through the understanding of Mrs. Eddy's statement in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 468), "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter." During the eight years of my study of Christian Science and application of the truth gained therefrom, I have been healed of colds, constipation, inflammation of the eyes, fatigue, and other discordant conditions. While I am very grateful for the physical relief, I am more grateful for the understanding of the Bible and its teachings, gained by the aid of Science and Health.

That divine Mind alone really governs was proved to me by an experience shortly after I began the study of Christian Science. I was employed as typist by a corporation with which I was happy; but there seemed no chance for advancement, and I was getting away from the practice of writing shorthand. I had registered with the employment agencies of the city, but they did not seem to have anything for me. Then I asked a practitioner for help. She gave me a few helpful references to study from the Bible and Science and Health. In about ten days thereafter I was offered, and accepted, a position which was an advancement in both salary and work, as it consisted of shorthand as well as typing, and bookkeeping, thereby giving me a broader experience, and was proof of Mrs. Eddy's words (Science and Health, p. 258), "God expresses in man the infinite idea forever developing itself, broadening and rising higher and higher from a boundless basis."

I have had the blessed privilege of class instruction and am a member of The Mother Church, for which I am very grateful. I am also grateful for the Christian Science literature. In striving to reflect the Mind of Christ, I feel I am sincere in expressing my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, who has brought this Comforter to bless all mankind.
