I should like to express my gratitude for the blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science. For the past eight years it has never failed to meet my every need, spiritual, financial, or physical, when earnestly applied.

We have two little children, both of whom were born with the help of Christian Science. The second child arrived before a doctor could get to the house; and I experienced no pain. The nurse, who was with me, said it was in every way a perfect birth. Several months before the child came I read a testimony in the Christian Science Sentinel written by a lady in England, saying that she had had just such an experience. I then realized that God is omnipresent, and that the power of divine Mind is not limited.

I have also had another healing, of scarlet fever. I first experienced a very sore throat, and a few days later a rash appeared. I sent word at once to a practitioner, asking for treatments and telling her what was the seeming trouble. My husband, who is not a Scientist, wished me to call a doctor, and I consented to do so. He pronounced the case scarlet fever. He did not prescribe any medicine, saying it would do no good. The doctor said the children would probably have the disease, too; but I was in bed only four days, and no one else in the household manifested any symptoms of the ailment. This was just another proof of the protection of divine Love. I had no fear of contagion, knowing that God's children can reflect only good.
