It is nearly twenty years since Christian Science was brought to me. I had been ill for nearly three years with what is known as St. Vitus's dance. At that time I was so thin that my bones seemed to be almost coming through my skin, and the best for which the physicians could hope was that I would not live much longer. A Christian Science practitioner came to see me. On the first visit I was in bed; the second time she came I was up and dressed for the first time in months; and the third time, I ran down the steps to meet her—well! There has been no return of this disease.

Since then I have been healed of colds, headaches, bilious attacks, and many other ills. I am indeed grateful to God, and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for all the benefits that have come to me through Christian Science; and I am most grateful to the practitioners who have so lovingly and patiently helped me.
