I should like to express my gratitude for the many blessings...

I should like to express my gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me in the seven years that I have been studying Christian Science. One day my little son fell on a foot scraper which had a heavy spring on it, and the spring ran into his mouth between the gums and cheek. He was so badly frightened that he tore himself violently loose before we could reach him, and the wrench tore the flesh. His father reached him first and declared the truth for him, so that he soon stopped crying. When I saw the hanging flesh, however, fear overcame me and he started crying again. My husband went to town for a practitioner. She quietly assured him that the child would be all right; and, sure enough, he was quiet and asleep before they reached our home. As soon as the practitioner came she gave the child a treatment. Immediately the piece of flesh went into place; the child suffered no more pain; and in less than a week the torn place was healed inside and outside without a scar.

Later on, I was taken suddenly ill with severe pain and vomiting. In a short time I was vomiting blood. Again the practitioner was called, and I was healed by one treatment. Truly, as Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."
