For many years I suffered from internal troubles and could find no help. In 1912 the doctors declared I must undergo an operation, as a growth had formed in the intestines. I agreed, for at that time I knew nothing of Christian Science. After the operation I was examined frequently, and my condition was said to be very serious. In a short time I had to submit to another operation. Afterwards, I still felt all the symptoms of the old suffering, but was firmly resolved not to permit another operation. Then my attention was drawn to Christian Science by an acquaintance, and I immediately visited a practitioner, who lovingly talked to me of Truth. Gradually the darkness which surrounded me yielded, and I felt health and new life! I had been healed of cancer. I am unceasingly grateful for this proof of the infinite goodness of our heavenly Father, the understanding of which saved me.

A serious family disagreement was also overcome through the loving and thorough work of the practitioner. I was also healed in a short time of a severe attack of influenza; fever and heart attacks quickly disappeared; and I was freed from rheumatic pains in my right arm. Furthermore, I have burned myself several times, without suffering any pain after the application of our wonderful teaching. One day I noticed some red, itching blotches on my hands and legs. My husband, who is a druggist, persuaded me to apply a salve, but this only aggravated the error. Therefore, I again asked a dear practitioner for help in Christian Science; and after two treatments was healed.

It is the wonderful truth about God that has made my family and me so happy. Daily I turn my thought to the ninety-first psalm, the understanding of which has been my guide in many instances. Over and over again I have experienced healings and blessings; among others, a complete healing this summer of palpitation of the heart. I was also relieved in a few days of inflammation of the left upper arm. Much love has helped me over all errors, and I feel young and happy!
