I naturally love the truth as taught in Christian Science, as I have been healed, sustained, governed, guided, and protected by it. This truth is our all, and I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her untiring efforts and the love she expressed for all in giving it to mankind.
A few years ago, one very dear to me passed on. Through the help of a loving practitioner I was able to go through that experience with an enlarged understanding of Life as the eternal God; and with this clearer understanding of God and His allness came the expression of "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding," about which the Bible tells us. This is only one of the many things for which I am grateful to Christian Science. I have experienced some beautiful physical healings, among them the overcoming of headache that had been continuous for many months, congested lungs, sprains, and burns.
It is nearly twenty years since I, as a child, was first enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School, and every day during that time there has unfolded a clearer sense of the ever-presence of God,—Life, Truth, Love. Every experience of the unfolding of good brings an increased sense of gratitude to God, who gave us our great Master and Way-shower, and later Mrs. Eddy, whose thought was pure enough, and who expressed enough unselfed love to be able to rediscover this blessed truth. The Bible tells us that God is "no respecter of persons;" and I rejoice in the knowledge that all of the good that has come to me is for each and every other child of God, and that to receive it each one has only to turn as a little child to God.
