I am very grateful for the opportunity of giving this testimony about what Christian Science has done for me.

Being a daughter of a Lutheran clergyman, I early got the habit of attending church services; but the theology I then listened to never gave me any satisfactory answers to the world's problems or to the purpose of existence. These answers all came to me through the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. From the very moment, five years ago, when I opened it, the whole aspect of life began to change. I can never forget the impression the first chapter, that on Prayer, made upon me, or how the revelation of God as ever present Love came to me. With the spiritual uplift there came also, without my seeking for it, the physical healing of many ailments. During the following months, through reading Science and Health, I was healed of heart trouble, rheumatism, constipation, weakness, fatigue, fear, and worry.

I am grateful beyond expression for all the joy and peace and happy activity that Christian Science has brought into my life. It has also been a great blessing that several members of my family have received the truth, and that we all unite in the one great interest.
