Among the Churches

Current Notes

Topanga, California (Society).—A small group of Christian Scientists, living on one of the most scenic automobile drives in southern California, at Topanga, having held services for four years in a little mountain bungalow, celebrated their acceptance as a branch society of The Mother Church, in Boston, Massachusetts, when services were held in a new building, an attractive structure of hollow tile and cement. The auditorium has seating capacity for one hundred, and there are suitable anterooms for Sunday school and administrative purposes, the whole presenting an appearance of harmony and completeness.

The Owensmouth Gazette

Clear Lake, Iowa (First Church).—In order to have a church home of their own, the trustees of First Church of Christ, Scientist, of this city, have purchased the Zion Lutheran church, and will remodel it for their own use.
