When Christian Science found me I was in a state of...

When Christian Science found me I was in a state of despair. For four years I had been suffering as the result of a displacement of an internal organ. I went from one doctor to another, and each one gave me fresh hope for a time. Then one day a friend asked me if I had ever heard of Christian Science. My friend lent me the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and I began to study, but it was some time before a ray of light came to me. I went on studying, however, and my health gradually improved, so that I was able to walk without feeling tired. My healing has been slow; but for this I am grateful, as it has stimulated me to work out my salvation.

I am very grateful to God for Christian Science, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for revealing the truth to us; also to the practitioners for their patience in the days of my despondency.—(Mrs.) MARGARET GLADYS FLETCHER, Weaverham, Cheshire, England.
