To countless people the Bible and the teachings of Christ Jesus were quite incomprehensible until their meaning was made plain through the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. To-day these people are making a daily study of the Bible in conjunction with that textbook, and in consequence are finding themselves enabled to put the teachings of Christ Jesus into practice in their work and everyday life. A teacher is best honored by pupils who obtain results, and so prove their understanding. Christian Scientists thus honor Christ Jesus as adherents of no other religion do to-day, and the reason of the great progress Christian Science is making is that it is meeting the great craving in the hearts of men for an understandable explanation of God. Christian Science has nothing in common with spiritualism.
