I should like to express by means of this testimony my gratitude for the healing of my little boy. A fortnight after his birth, suppuration began under his nails, which fell off. From then on he did not digest his food, and did not retain what he took. He had also a slight curvature of the spine. He cried day and night, and suffered in this way for five months, growing so thin that he was smaller than he had been at birth. We were in despair, not knowing what to do to save him, when a cousin spoke to us of Christian Science. My husband and I at once consented to go to see a practitioner, who encouraged me greatly. After the first treatment the child ate better and retained his food. He slept better, too. In a fortnight he was so well and had made such wonderful progress that no one recognized him. He was the joy of my family, for he was completely healed. Since then he has become the easiest of children to bring up. He is now twenty months old, and has never been ill again.

We are deeply grateful for this healing, and particularly grateful for the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy; also for the Christian Science Bible Lessons (Lesson-Sermons) which every day help us to know God better. By the demonstrations I have gained I am now able to have beautiful demonstrations in my household and for the children. One day our little one fell and cut his temple. I at once applied what I understood of God's creation, and read the textbook a great deal. Two days later there was no longer the least mark left. My husband had treatment for rheumatism, and in a short time he was freed from this trouble. For all this we are grateful.
