I was healed of the need of wearing glasses by the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, over twenty-five years ago. Two oculists had said that I should always have to wear glasses, and a thought had been accepted that the trouble was hereditary. I began to read Science and Health in order to investigate its spiritual teaching, as both parents had passed on and I had an earnest desire to know more of God, and to find something clearly helpful in solving my problems. When about twelve years old, I had had a healing from a severe illness by applying as well as I knew how what I had learned of God in studying the New Testament; and I later turned to Science and Health eagerly to see what its teaching was. After reading the book at irregular intervals, with no thought of seeking any special physical healing, I found my eyes healed, and have not worn glasses since. Enough of the truth had been imbibed to cause me to abandon all material remedies, and to seek more understanding of true healing.

I am profoundly grateful for the revelation of Truth to this age by Mrs. Eddy, and that one of her students came to the community in which we resided to bring this truth and the authorized literature of Christian Science.
