I became interested in Christian Science when my mother...

I became interested in Christian Science when my mother passed on, several years ago. She had been much helped by Christian Science, and I found that the same truth comforted and strengthened me. Shortly afterwards my father very suddenly passed on, leaving my sister an me alone. Divine Love, our Father-Mother God, enabled me to pass safely through many circumstances, and to complete my music course in a conservatory.

A few months ago I received a beautiful healing. Before entering the school term I had been told by a dentist in the South that my gums were not in good condition and that there was one tooth which should have an X-ray examination and immediate attention. During the School months that followed I was frequently annoyed by this tooth and others, and made several inquiries concerning reputable dentists. Each time a name was given me I planned to go; yet when the time came to make the appointment, I always decided to wait. It seemed to me that divine Love filled all space and would care for this problem. While under the treatment of a Christian Science practitioner a short time later I mentioned this to her, and she said she would help me. At last I felt the right time had come to make an appointment with a dentist. The dentist asked me what I wished done, and I replied I should like my teeth cleaned. He did this for me, and said that was all the work needed. He added that he could tell that my teeth were much stronger than they used to be, and that they were in perfect condition now.

I am most deeply grateful for all the loving work of the faithful practitioner; and my heart is filled with unbounded love and gratitude for our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
