Last fall I suffered a severe attack of laryngitis, and was unable to utter any audible sound whatever. After I came home from the office my wife telephoned a Christian Science practitioner, asking for help. This was on Thursday evening. The healing came very quickly, as on the following Saturday I was able to speak; by Sunday the trouble had disappeared; and on Monday I was able to return to my work and carry on my duties as usual. I have had many proofs of the healing power of Truth as taught in Christian Science, but I am particularly grateful in this instance because of the quickness with which the healing came, as it occurred at a time when we were unusually rushed at the office with work which had to be finished within a set time; and I was able to return to work and carry through my part.
