Signs of the Times

[From the Enquirer, Cincinnati, Ohio, March 11, 1923]

Let fear . . . give way to love and faith, and all should be well so far as this or any other world is concerned. This is the fine, high appeal of a nobler ministry than the world has known through the groping ages. And there will be many to agree with this summing up by Dr. Tittle: "Unless business, industry, and politics can be brought under the law of service, the church should cease this moment to pray for the coming of the city of God. If the church fails to put over this service motive, close your doors and lock up your Bibles."
