The Real Selfhood

Oh , come to the truth,
Your real selfhood in God;
Awake from your dreams, and be free!
Why dwell with your sins
That never were real?
Your Master says, "Come unto me."

Just think of the birds
And the flowers of the field;
God cares for them all, every day.
Why doubt His great power
To meet all your needs?
Are ye not much better than they?

E'en now, at this moment,
God knows all His own;
His allness includes you and me.
In infinite good there
Is never a place
For the dreams of error to be.

Just think of the dow'r
That God gives unto you:
Dominion o'er sickness and sin!
Then rise in His strength
To th' self that is true,
And find Love's real kingdom within.
