To live, move, and have our being in God is true spiritual existence.
Christian Scientists believe in the God of the Bible: they adore the God of the Bible.
I have before me a letter of recent date from a Spokane minister who says, "I have usually found Christian Scientists anxious to be in love with truth and moral honesty.
Christian Science is distinctly not a method of healing by suggestion.

The
first of the Beatitudes uttered by Christ Jesus, and preserved to us in the wonderful fifth chapter of Matthew, is very far-reaching in its scope: "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
On the occasion of the dedication of The Mother Church, our Leader wrote, "Owing to the time consumed in travel, et cetera, I cannot be present in propria persona at our annual communion and the dedication in June next of The Mother Church of Christ, Scientist.
Churches and societies in the United States proper and in the Dominion of Canada, wishing to give lectures during the first two months of the next lecture year, namely, July and August, 1923, are requested to inform the Board of Lectureship, if possible, before June 1.
I wish to add my testimony as a proof of Christian Science healing.
It is with gratitude to God for His protection and omnipotence that I am sending this testimony of healing, experienced in April, 1919.
For about fourteen years I suffered from attacks of headache, lumbago, rheumatism, bronchial pneumonia, and pleural pneumonia, complicated with yellow jaundice and symptoms of typhoid fever, followed by dyspepsia, then acute pneumonia, the after effects being boils and abscesses, which the attending doctor named farinaceous growths.
In gratitude to Christian Science I wish to add this testimony to the record of its many healings.
I became interested in the study of Christian Science about thirteen years ago, not because of any physical defect of my own, but because at that time my sister, then nine years old, had been pronounced by several physicians incurable, as a result of epilepsy, said to have been caused by chronic indigestion and bowel trouble.
It is with gratitude to God and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that I send this testimony, hoping it will find a place in some receptive thought.
Since coming into Christian Science we have had many wonderful proofs of God's loving care and protection.
For some time I have felt I should like to express my gratitude to Christian Science for the many physical helps I have received, and also for the many spiritual blessings that have come to me since I began to attend the church services on Sunday and Wednesday evenings, as well as from studying the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, from the Bible and from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
I wish to express my deepest gratitude for all the blessings which we have received through Christian Science.
