The Chicago corporation, put on the first page of the Boston Herald as a Christian Science church gone bankrupt, is not entitled to that description. Unauthorized persons formed a corporation as "Seventeenth Church of Christ, Scientist, of Chicago," but it never was given affiliation or recognition by the Christian Science churches of Chicago or by The Mother Church of this denomination. The organization in question was irregular from its beginning and has no standing as a Church of Christ, Scientist.
