It is with deep gratitude that I send my testimony of Christian Science healing, hoping it may be a help to others. About fourteen years ago I appealed to a Christian Science practitioner for physical healing, when everything else had failed. I was a physical and nervous wreck. Catarrhal condition of the intestines, adhesion of the appendix to an ovary, chronic weakness, constipation, and kidney disorder was the medical diagnosis. Constant suffering and frequent attacks of excruciating pain brought on a nervous breakdown. Sleepless nights, despondency, and despair were the result.

When all material remedies had been tried and had failed, my old faith in God, which was without understanding surely led me finally to accept Christian Science; and I was instantaneously healed of those conditions, and have had no return of them. I shall never forget the wonderful spiritual uplift and immediate relief from that constant pain, and the peaceful sleep that followed, the like of which I had not experienced for years.

Immediately I began my investigation by reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. It was marvelous to me. It seemed to answer the many questions that were accumulating from my study of the Bible. Indeed, it made the Bible an open book for me, and more interesting and beneficial than any other study in the world. I gradually reached out for all that Mrs. Eddy had ever written, realizing, more and more, the truth of it and its healing power over sickness and sin. I have been a diligent student of Christian Science ever since, and care for nothing but to be able to demonstrate it in my daily life, and with it to help suffering humanity.
