I am glad of the opportunity to bear witness to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. Through the loving help of Christian Science practitioners, many physical ailments have been overcome, including rheumatism, hernia, and a very severe case of fungus growth in the nose. The last had been operated on by one of the best surgeons in the state, at a hospital in Portland, and later at Lewiston, Maine. In both cases it returned worse than before. I was then healed in Christian Science in two weeks' treatment.

For these healings, and for the spiritual understanding gained, my gratitude to God and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who restored this religion to the world, is boundless.
