words "demonstrate" and "demonstration," as used in Christian Science, involve meanings vastly different from and broader than those given them in dictionaries.

Peter's address to the "men of Israel" on the day of Pentecost, as recorded in the book of Acts, we read these words: "Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you.
How
comes it about that almost without exception those who take up the study of Christian Science in earnest begin to bridle the tongue; and not only the tongue, but what is of far greater importance, the thoughts which control it?
When I turned to Christian Science a number of years ago, many healings came to me instantaneously, not so much through spiritual understanding, as through an absolute childlike faith in the omnipotence of God.
