Talking about journalism, a reader sends a copy of The Christian Science Monitor, a daily paper published in Boston, which I had not seen since the war. Seeing it again after so long, I am only confirmed in the belief that it is one of the very finest newspapers in the world. I hasten to add that I have no connection with Christian Science. The great feature of the Monitor is its cleanness. It aims at excluding records of crime, disease, disaster, and afflication.
