When I was but a child, an aunt was healed very quickly of a serious condition of the throat and lungs through Christian Science. As I grew to young womanhood, my health failed. I had trouble with my throat and lungs, and I went through a nervous breakdown so severe that it threatened my reason. When all material means had failed and the ground seemed to be slipping from under my feet, I thought of the experience of my aunt, who turned to Christian Science and was healed, and I decided to do likewise. My healing was slow; but I have been thankful for that, since it caused me to investigate Christian Science and to see the necessity of working out my own salvation. Besides the troubles already mentioned, I have been healed of sick headaches, sore throat, and other difficulties. A few years ago, I fell headlong almost the whole length of a flight of stairs, with practically no ill effects. At the birth of my child, Christian Science was a wonderful help in overcoming material laws; and it has been a great help in caring for the child, in the way of overcoming fear and anxiety.

For all that Christian Science has done for me and mine I am very grateful indeed to God, to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have helped me along the way.
