I wish to add my testimony to the many others, hoping it may help as I have been helped by reading testimonies of healing.

In 1913 the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was sent me. For fifteen years or more I had suffered from acid stomach. It was pronounced incurable by three physicians. Up to this time I knew but little of Mrs. Eddy's works and was not interested enough to read the book; and for two years I did not read enough to know what it had for me. In 1915 I commenced reading it and read it through to the end. And what a revelation it was to me! It seemed as though everything had changed as well as I myself. I was healed while reading the book, but did not realize this until I had begun the perusal of it the second time. When I came to the last of the Preface (p. xii), where Mrs. Eddy says "she commits these pages to honest seekers for Truth," I knew then why I was eating anything I wanted without any complaint from my stomach. I have not had any trouble with it since; and for five years I was able to demonstrate for myself in many little things such as colds, coughs, and burns. In 1920 I had a very severe attack of indigestion and lumbago. With the help of a loving practitioner, indigestion was healed in about twelve hours, and lumbago in a few days. In 1921 I fell on the ice, striking my hand in such a way that it was split open between the fingers. A dear sister was visiting me at the time and I asked her for Science help. In about ten minutes the blood stopped flowing and I was about my work as usual. I did not have to ask any one to do my work, but did it myself.

Words can never express the joy and gladness that is in my heart for all these beautiful healings, and for Science and Health, which has showed us the right way to God, good.
