Signs of the Times

Let us make ourselves plain in this regard. Because of the interpretation which we are constrained to put upon the words of the Scriptures, we are inclined to assert that "religion," if by that is meant an understanding of God, man, and the universe, and of the law, is the most important and profitable kind of "business."

Now, speaking of "religion" and "business." If some one should come to you, some one in whom you had faith, some one who knew his business, and pointed out to you a way whereby you might achieve success speedily, you would be glad to listen to him, wouldn't you? ... Here are some words spoken and written by two of the most successful and wisest men who ever lived. You may recognize some of them, for they are taken directly from the Scriptures:—
