Our problem of employment and supply has been met...
Our problem of employment and supply has been met so beautifully that we would like to pass along some of the real substance gained in working it out. The only difficulty in the way of this is, that, like all other problems, now it has been so beautifully and thoroughly solved it is hard to realize that there ever was such a problem. However, the truths that were revealed from the inexhaustible storehouse are blessings which will always make us grateful that this problem was given us; and to be able to give these to others makes us feel doubly blessed.
At the beginning, we seemed to progress slowly. The problem of employment was not such a difficult one, for we realized that there could be no better or more profitable employment than just searching for Truth, and remembering the promise, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." We realized that the first half of that promise is just as definite as the last half. It seemed as though we needed spiritual growth; and as all work is God's work, the work for us, then, was to study. We realized that there was an overflowing abundance for us, and that only some wrong angle in our perspective was holding us back from seeing our complete demonstration. Yet, as we worked mentally, always there came our daily supply for our daily needs, until at last the understanding came that this was our solution, which had been with us all the time, only waiting to be revealed. Our daily manna was there; our only lack was the fear that it might not fall to-morrow.
Then our problem was met so wonderfully—in ways never thought of. Truly, our "cup runneth over." But most of all, we know that the great abundance which is coming to us now is but a higher demonstration of His daily care for us all, and that it is no more remarkable that we should manifest an abundance of all good and useful things than that we should manifest an abundance of happiness and health.
