While my heart is overflowing with gratitude, I wish to give thanks to God for all the peace and harmony that have come into my life and home through the understanding of what God is, as taught in Christian Science. It was about five years ago that Christian Science first came to me, and my first healing was of pneumonia. Since that time I have had many proofs of the truth of Science. I have seven children, and have been able with the help of a loving practitioner to meet and overcome all the various so-called diseases common to children. Earache, toothache, grippe, and influenza have been healed. I myself have been restored when to sense on the point of passing out. I cannot thank God enough for all my blessings; for, as any one knows, with a large family there are many problems to meet, and especially if the supply to human sense is limited. I am very grateful to say that I have overcome in a large sense the fear of lack, and time and again have proved that supply is from God, and always at hand if we do our part and follow our Master's command, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

My husband has had a wonderful healing and is beginning to see the light, and is seeking it more through the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I am grateful for the privilege of being a reader in our local society, also a member of The Mother Church; for the restoration of our periodicals under the supervision of the Board of Directors and in accordance with the Church Manual, as designated by our beloved Leader; and for all the works of Mrs. Eddy, which with the Bible I prize above everything else. My daughter of fifteen is a member of the local society and is a great help and comfort to me.

My one desire is to be worthy the name "Christian Scientist," and each day I strive to overcome anything that would hinder my progress in the path of truth. I am earnestly striving to have the Mind of Christ and to follow the Golden Rule at all times.
