In grateful acknowledgment of the many blessings that Christian Science has brought to me, I am glad to have this opportunity to tell a few of them. It seems to me I was very slow to understand enough to make practical the teaching of Christian Science; and I am grateful for the patience of a dear Christian Science teacher.

Most of all, I am grateful that each day I am learning more of God and the man of His creating, through the study of the Bible and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Each experience of physical healing has marked the realization of some wonderful truth. A year ago I passed through a painful experience: I could not lie down, and my feet were badly swollen. I shall not soon forget one day when things seemed very serious. I looked away from the frightened faces of my father and my husband, out of the window, up into the clear, blue sky, and I knew that God is my life and because He lives I live. The only selfhood of man there is, is His image and likeness, free, perfect, living, and moving in Him. The pain soon faded, and in a few days I was able to lie down; the swelling disappeared from my feet, and in a short time I was again looking after my housekeeping. Through this experience I had wonderful help, love, and encouragement from a dear practitioner. Also with the help of the same practitioner I came through what I think medical opinion would have called influenza, in which all sense of weakness disappeared in the realization of truth as the bread of life.

Through this wonderful truth I have been set free from extreme fatigue, headache, irritation, and many of the inharmonious thoughts and fears to which mortal mind is heir. I am being taught how to love, and how to obey the Golden Rule. No one can count the blessings which Christian Science has brought, without a deep feeling of love and gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, whom God found pure enough to receive this revelation of Truth, and brave and wise enough to give it to the world. Through the teaching of Christian Science I have been better able to understand the love and wonderful life of Jesus, and to be grateful to God for our Way-shower and his wonderful work for humanity.
