I am most grateful for all that Christian Science has done and is doing for me daily. Through the study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have been healed of neuralgic headaches which I had been subject to for more than twenty years. Chronic stomach trouble was also healed in Science. I was healed of a serious infection of the eyes, which an eye specialist said would necessitate an operation. This healing was slow, but I was not discouraged. Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 254), "When we wait patiently on God and seek Truth righteously, He directs our path."

For the benefit of mothers who have little ones in the home, I would like to tell of a healing that came to my grandson. The little fellow has been in the Christian Science Sunday School about a year. In the early winter he seemed to have a great many head colds and to suffer from deafness. His father, not being much interested in Christian Science, took him to a specialist, who diagnosed the case as adenoids and diseased tonsils, and stated that an operation would be necessary. I asked my son if he would be willing to have Christian Science treatment for the boy before having an operation performed. He consented, and the practitioner started the work on Monday. The next Saturday, just one week from the time he had had the examination, the same specialist came to the home, made another examination, and found the condition perfectly healed. I feel that I can never be grateful enough for this proof of the power of God to meet our every need.
