It is with deep gratitude that I send the particulars of my healing through Christian Science. I am by profession a graduate nurse. After having had a very heavy case I developed an embolus in a retinal artery (which is a blood clot in an artery of the eye), causing total blindness of one eye. I consulted specialists; and after all medical means had been tried without success, and my condition was pronounced hopeless, I was advised to try Christian Science. Fortunately, although a nurse, I was not antagonistic, so I sought the aid of a practitioner. In three weeks I could see objects, and in three months I could read small Bible print. I told my physician what I had done, and with great gratitude he said, "Keep right on; you can see as much with that eye as the average person can with both eyes."

Mere words are inadequate to express my thankfulness to God for the restoration of my sight through Christian Science.
