My heart is filled with gratitude for all that I have received from our Father-Mother God, who guided me with infinite love since my childhood. I first heard of Christian Science ten years ago, and since that time have experienced many blessings and healings. I was healed of long-standing inflammation of the eyes, which impaired my eyesight, as well as of neuritis, which caused me intense pain. For this last-mentioned healing I had absent treatment only. Also fever, burns, a very painful abscess on the finger (during which trouble chills became manifest), grippe, and many other ailments were overcome with Christian Science help. All pain and difficulties vanished while the loving practitioner worked for me and read the twenty-seventh psalm with me during the grippe; and I was able to arise immediately and enter upon my entire duties.

While in advanced years I was obliged to change my vocation and seemingly had great difficulties to combat. Through God's help and the untiring effort of a loving practitioner I gradually overcame all that seemed difficult, and now feel well and happy in my new activity. Above all I am thankful to God for the spiritual blessings and the increasing spiritual understanding, through which I am learning more and more to know God and to love my neighbor as myself.

I am happy to be a member of The Mother Church and our Church in Hamburg. Our services always give me new strength and happiness; and I have experienced several instantaneous healings while there. I am also sincerely grateful for the Bible-Lessons, and have received rich blessings through our lectures. I think of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, with sincere reverence and gratitude.
