I am so thankful for all that Christian Science has done...
I am so thankful for all that Christian Science has done for me that I wish to add my testimony, hoping it may reach some one whom it will help. I came to Christian Science for physical healing, as I never knew what a well day was from about eleven years old. When I was married it seemed as if I grew worse each year. I suffered most from organic trouble. I tried different physicians with no help. I was in the insane asylum for about four months. Later, the doctor said I must leave my home for an operation which I did not know I would ever recover from. I tried nearly all home doctors and many different medicines but received no help. Finally, I felt suicide was the only cure for me.
In a short time after this I ran across a Christian Scientist. I told her my troubles and she thought I had better try Christian Science, which I did, and I was healed instantaneously. I told my husband I was well, but he could not believe it, as he knew all my troubles; but he could not help believing when he saw how hard I could work, for before I was healed I could do only very light work. Later I had a growth on my side, and with what little understanding I had of Christian Science and with a practitioner's help I was restored to perfect health, for which I thank God daily. Nervous headaches, which I had suffered from for about twenty years, vanished into their native nothingness.
The Bible is loved and studied as never before, and I know of nothing so dear to me as the spiritual food with which I am daily fed. I am very thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving to the world this wonderful truth.—(Mrs.) Anna Kucera, Belle Plains, Iowa.
