I am grateful to give my experience in Christian Science healing for the benefit of any one suffering from malignant growth. In 1908, after two doctors had pronounced the sentence of an immediate operation, a friend offered her knowledge of Christian Science as a solution of the problem; but not really understanding its value, and because arrangements had been made at a hospital, I underwent the operation—only to find that there was no growth, having been healed while on the train going to the hospital. There were friends who thought the relief would not be permanent, but in 1921 I can say that in Christian Science "there is never a retrograde step, never a return to positions outgrown," as Mrs. Eddy tells us on page 74 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

I am grateful for this and many other healings, and more so for the better understanding of the Bible which, read through the understanding which Science and Health gives, heals all manner of diseases.
