I owe so much to Christian Science that it is difficult to know just which experience will prove the most helpful to others; and yet I desire to give thanks in the fullest measure. I turned to Christian Science in the first instance to learn what true forgiveness of sin means, and I am always thankful that my first lessons were along that line. Many healings have been wrought in my own home and many times disease has been met before it made any manifestation on the body. I have been cured of ailing stomach (a noted local physician told me at one time that I had a stomach he would not put in a dog), and of the attendant distress. Pride has been cast down, self-will has been broken, and zeal without wisdom has been corrected and guided.

These effects of Christian Science are to me far more important than bodily healing. As a family our most precious healing was that of sorrow. We know divine Love to be the Comforter promised by Jesus, and we rejoice therein.
