Christian Science came to me thirty years ago

Christian Science came to me thirty years ago. I had not been well for a number of years and was under the care of a physician most of the time. The trouble developed into a tumor which the doctors—my family doctor, a specialist, and a hospital doctor where I was examiend—said nothing but an operation would help. As there were, however, complications that an operation would not relieve, they said I could only live a few years. Christian Science was presented to me at this time, and upon the advice of my family I consented to try it, in the hope that it would relieve the constant pain I suffered. At my first visit to the practitioner I was healed of the pain, in two weeks all the evidence of the disease had disappeared and I was so reduced in size that I could wear my regular clothing, something I had not done for months. From that time to this I have not had the slightest trouble with these organs; they have been perfectly normal. Also, at this time, I was healed of chronic headaches that I had had from childhood.

For these proofs of the healing power of Christian Science I am deeply grateful. For the many healing and spiritual uplift that have helped me on my way these thirty years I thank God and our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
