I am indeed very grateful for having heard of Christian Science

I am indeed very grateful for having heard of Christian Science. In I Thessalonians we read, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." Christian Science is surely that which can be proved, and that which is good. Through the reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and by regularly attending Christian Science church services and studying the Lesson-Sermons, I have been able to lay aside glasses, after having worn them for over fifteen years and having been told by an optician that it would be necessary to wear them all my life, as my left eye had a tendency to turn in when I used my eyes for reading to any extent. I have had sufficient proof that this healing is permanent, as during the past three years I have done more reading without glasses than I ever could have done while wearing them. Medicines have been altogether disposed of; and when any seeming physical difficulties have presented themselves, they have always been met and destroyed by the truth as taught in Christian Science.

I am particularly grateful to the very loving practitioner who has helped our family, and is helping me on my way to a better understanding of this valuable and most practical religion; and for the spiritual uplift and the desire I now have to study the Scriptures and to know more about God, I am truly thankful.
