My blessings have been many and I feel I must send a second testimony. In 1913 whilst in school I was examined by a Harley Street eye specialist who ordered me to wear glasses and said I would have to wear them constantly. I studied Christian Science for about two and a half years before discontinuing the wearing of them, and though for a while my sight was very poor, I did my best to put into practice my understanding that sight is spiritual. After a few months I saw clearly. I have lately done much traveling and can sew, write, or read in a moving train with perfect comfort. I am very thankful for the freedom.
During the war a beloved one passed on, and in the seeming darkness Science was indeed the divine Comforter. Last year my left arm became paralyzed and useless. I was unable to help myself so after a week I got help from a practitioner, and within two days the pain had vanished and I was able to use my arm again, and was given strength to pack up our household belongings during that week, working over ten hours a day. I am very grateful for all the literature and for being able to help others. I know that Science cannot fail; I have only to be faithful.
