Infinite Spirit, God, divine Mind, is the fundamental basis of all true being, and the universe and man reflect Him. Christian Science is purely metaphysical, it is above the physical, it reveals a true knowledge of spiritual cause and effect. Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" on page 14: "Entirely separate from the belief and dream of material living, is the Life divine, revealing spiritual understanding and the consciousness of man's dominion over the whole earth. This understanding casts out error and heals the sick, and with it you can speak 'as one having authority.'"

While Christian Science cannot be defined by the shadow screen there still remains a profitable field for a better class of photo plays, such as manifest the higher ideals of human character, portraying an ethical system of morals, actions, motives, and conduct of living. Such qualities as health, happiness, joy, contentment, forgiveness, gentleness, honesty, integrity, justice, mercy, and goodness, entering into the affairs of men should be the paramount feature of every play; then as these higher and more perfect attributes of being become the ideals of the human mind, mankind will be blessed. Mrs. Eddy further says on page 234 of Science and Health, "Whatever inspires with wisdom, Truth, or Love—be it song, sermon, or Science—blesses the human family with crumbs of comfort from Christ's table, feeding the hungry and giving living waters to the thirsty."
